"Boiled Nuts" Tapah

On my way back to Penang for the weekend today, I happened to drop by the Tapah rest stop along the North South Highway. That was when I noticed this stall selling "kacang rebus". I couldn't find the English term for it though, boiled nuts was the first name that came to mind.






At RM3 for 250gm, I guess it's pretty affordable for anybody wanting some nuts. As for me, at 8.50am, I'm not really in the mood to get "nutty"

  1. This my grandfather's favorite kacang during my childhood. I used to remember my grandfather used to buy this kacang in market while caring me around. He buy for me to eat... I know he loves it!! But nowadays hardly I can.. see this kacang stuffs again..
